Manganese phosphate is the most used in the internal parts of the engine and is used for lubrication and reducing friction. The color of this coating is gray tending to black and the time required for covering varies between 15 to 30 minutes. The thickness of this coating is between 5 to 20 microns on the metal surface.

In this type of coating, fine and hard type is usually preferred over coarse and loose type, but it depends on the type of work and performance. In many cases, the crystals become finer due to preliminary operations. This product is formulated as the main material for making manganese phosphate bath which is applied by immersion method and is suitable for iron and steel surfaces.
